Hello,
What follows is a complement to the 107th Meditation Focus suggested for the 2
weeks beginning Sunday
ANCHORING THE VIBRATION OF UNITY
1. Summary
2. Meditation times
3. Peace Watch for the Middle East
IMPORTANT NOTE: The meditation times for the Meditation Focus will change this
Sunday, as most countries around the world change (or have already changed)
either to or from Daylight saving time. In the Northern hemisphere this means
the globally synchronized meditation will take place an hour later (at noon
instead of 11 am on the East Coast, for instance) and an hour earlier in the
Southern hemisphere wherever local times shift from winter time to summer time
or vice versa. See the chart below for your local time for the suggested Global
Meditation time this Sunday.
1. SUMMARY
Please use the following inspirational text as the backdrop of this special
Meditation Focus and dedicate your prayers and meditations, as guided by Spirit,
in the coming week, and especially in synchronous attunement at the usual time
this Sunday, to contribute in anchoring the vibration of Unity, for the Highest
Good of All.
Anchoring the Vibration of Unity
More and more people are becoming aware that we are entering into a time of
Great Changes. Violence and wars are gradually subsiding around the world
despite occasional flares duly reported by the media. Benevolence and a sense of
common responsibility for our future is demonstrated by so many people and
organizations today that one would be hard pressed to try to fairly account for
all the goodwill done by men and women around this magnificent planet. Yet the
threats posed by seemingly overwhelming odds against us - continuing demographic
growth in the poorest parts of the world, environmental damages inflicted on an
unprecedented scale, apparent carelessness of politicians and mega-corporations
for the harm they do unto others, and so on - appear to stack the cards against
us and our children, their children and all future generations.
From the outside, one may think no individual effort or initiative has any
chance of affecting the outcome. But seen from inside, from the vantage point of
the Creator of this universe, if one can assume for a few moments this quite
unique perspective, all things appear in a much different light. Through the
exercise of its own free will, humanity is charting a new course towards a
marvelous future of untold happiness and spiritual wealth. Man is learning to
let go of centuries of hatred for his kin and misconceptions about his role and
place in this material world. A new fountain of Love is profusely flowing from
the hearts of millions and millions of beings and this expression of the divine
nature of man is slowly transforming this world into a place of harmony, equity,
sanity and common perception of what holds all Life forms together in a symphony
of balance and unity.
This inner awareness is now being expressed through a growing number of channels
and will soon be at the forefront of human affairs. Guided by inner promptings
and hundreds of small yet miraculous chance happenings, those channels are
discovering how easy it is to serve the Grand Purpose of Life when the
uncluttered desire to assist God is the true motivation of their decisions and
actions, and not the earthly desires of an ego still untamed by selfless
devotion to the One Being of Light. Synchronicities abound so much in fact today
that books are written to demonstrate their existence as for any other natural
Law of this universe. We are conquering the last redoubts of fear and
separateness and soon the world and our very inner sense of being in this world
will be entirely reborn.
At this very moment, streams of energy and willpower are being anchored through
magnificent initiatives all dedicated to uplift and heal this world. Not only is
our world going to be healed from its physical scars, but most importantly, our
souls will spiral back into the womb of Creation to reunite with the plane of
Reality from which they all emerge aeons ago. Separateness will be no more.
Illusion will be no more. Only Unity, the eternal vibration of Unity will be.
And to this simple yet unfathomable Reality, we are all called to converge, like
the rays of a star converging back to the center from which they were emitted to
implode into a perfection of blissful unity.

UN suspends food aid to Gaza
Food deliveries to the Gaza Strip have been halted because of Israeli
restrictions, the United Nations says. The UN Relief and Works Agency (Unrwa)
said an Israeli ban on moving empty containers out of Gaza had forced it to
suspend delivering 11,000 tons of food. Peter Hansen, UN chief responsible for
Palestinian refugees, said the 600,000 people in Gaza could face real hunger.
An Israeli spokesman said suicide bombers had used containers for hiding in. He
said the perpetrators of a double suicide attack on March 14, which killed 10
people in the Israeli port area of Ashdod, hid in containers to slip out of the
Gaza Strip. "At the moment we cannot trust anything, especially since the death
of Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin. We are exercising extreme caution", the
spokesperson said.
An Unrwa statement said Israel's refusal to allow empty freight containers out
of Gaza meant it had to pay prohibitive rental payments to shipping companies
that own them. Unrwa has stopped distributing rice, flour, cooking oil and other
essential foods in Gaza, where nearly two out of three families live below the
poverty line and more than half the workforce are unemployed.
Unrwa will hold a conference in Geneva in June to discuss humanitarian
assistance to Palestinian refugees. Up to 70 countries and aid organizations are
expected to attend - the first time in the agency's 54-year history that such a
meeting has been held.

UNRWA suspends emergency food aid in Gaza
Blaming Israeli restrictions at the Karni commercial crossing, the United
Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) suspended emergency food aid for 600,000
Palestinian in Gaza, the agency announced Thursday.
"If the new restrictions in Gaza continue, I fear we could see real hunger
emerge for the first time in two generations," UNRWA commission-general Peter
Hansen said in a press release.
Israel has increased security measures in Gaza following an increase in
terrorist attacks, including a double suicide attack in Ashdod carried out by
Palestinians who arrived at their target via a Gaza cargo container, and a March
6 gun and bomb attack at the Erez crossing that killed two Palestinian
policemen.
A joint statement last issued by seven UN agencies warned that humanitarian aid
to more than 1.3 million Palestinians in Gaza would be cut back or halted if
Israel did not ease up on restrictions.
"Israel's legitimate and serious security concerns will not be served by
hindering the emergency relief work of the United Nations," Hansen said. He
noted that an 11,000-ton food delivery from the Ashdod port was halted in order
to prevent a bottleneck, and prohibitive costs, on the journey to Gaza, and that
UNRWA's stocks of rice, flour and cooking oil have been fully depleted.

If Sharon is toppled, will his Gaza plan survive? (March 30)

In virtually his first act as Israel's attorney general, Menachem Mazuz faces a
decision of historic significance.
If the newly installed attorney general accepts State Prosecutor Edna Arbel's
recommendation to file bribery charges against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon,
Mazuz' ruling is likely to bring Sharon's long career to an abrupt end.
But if Sharon - architect, chief proponent and tireless lobbyist for the Gaza
disengagement initiative - falls from power, can the withdrawal on which he
staked his legacy survive him and reach the stage of implementation?
The answer - an apparent yes - derives from the main variables in the current
Israeli political equation:
-- The sprawling maze of corruption allegations surrounding Sharon's family, and
the possibility that at least two of the affairs could result in the prime
minister's resignation.
-- Sharon's scheduled April 14 visit to Washington, where he is to formally
unveil for President George Bush the plan to uproot nearly all settlements in
the Gaza Strip along with a small number of West Bank enclaves.
-- Growing indications of the willingness of the Labor Party under Shimon Peres
to join a Likud-led unity government soon after the attorney general makes
public his decision in an announcement expected within two months.
-- Implacable opposition to the Gaza withdrawal from the far-right wing of the
Sharon coalition, made up of the National Union, the National Religious Party,
and hawks within Sharon's Likud.
-- A surprise move Tuesday, in which Sharon declared support for a referendum
over the Gaza withdrawal among the some 200,000 members of the Likud rank and
file.
The following are a number of scenarios and their possible bearing on a future
Gaza withdrawal: CLIP
Sharon says Arafat may be assassination target, earning strong US rebuff (April

JERUSALEM (AFP) - Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon turned up the heat on
archfoe Yasser Arafat, warning the Palestinian leader was "not immune" from
assassination, a comment which earned a strong rebuff from Washington. At least
20 Palestinians were meanwhile wounded in clashes with Israeli police who
stormed one of Islam's holiest sites to tackle stonethrowing demonstrators. In
interviews published ahead of the Jewish holiday of Passover, the hawkish Sharon
said he did not rule out assassinating the Palestinian leader. The Israeli
premier was asked by the liberal daily Haaretz whether Arafat and the head of
the Lebanese fundamentalist militia Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, might be on
Israel's list of leaders to assassinate. "I wouldn't suggest either of them
feels immune ... Anyone who kills a Jew or harms an Israeli citizen, or sends
people to kill Jews, is a marked man, period," said the Israeli premier, in one
of his most threatening remarks to date. Washington swiftly recalled its
opposition to any new Israeli move against Arafat, who has been confined to his
battered headquarters in the West Bank town of Ramallah since December 2001.
